1935 Davis D 1 W
For sale is a RARE 1935 Davis D-1-W. (One of only 3 or 4 still flying) SN-801 was the last one built. Aircraft Total Time 859.9 51.9 SMOH on 165hp Warner overhauled by Radial Engines LTD. New Sensinich Wooden Propeller in 2019. Annual due May 31, 2020 but will be sold with a fresh annual inspection. Equipped with a Concord battery and electric starter and Communication radio. Runs and Flies great. I flew it to Oshkosh, Wisconsin and back this summer for EAA AirVenture. The Owner lost his 3rd class medical during the restoration and can not fly it. I have been flying it and maintaining it for the owner but it is time to let this plane go to a good home or a museum. Cruise speed is about 110mph at 65% power and 11.5 GPH.
