This 1940 Ford Tudor Standard Business Coupe is in beautiful, restored condition. Specifically, the vehicle was fully restored (frame off) two years ago. The paint is in excellent to mint condition. The engine compartment and undercarriage are super clean and rust free. The V-8 flat-head engine runs beautifully and does not overheat. The 3-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly. All gauges work great. The oil pressure reads 50 lbs. Tires are Ford 600-16 wide-whitewall tires, which are in great condition. Interior condition is excellent. No holes, sags or folds in the headliner and the seat upholstery is clean with no holes or tears.
I like to drive this car whenever I can in dry weather only — ice cream stops and car shows in the summer. When I fill the tank, I only use 91 octane fuel containing NO ETHANOL.
Included in the sale is a display board containing original accessories and other interesting items (old road map, etc.).
The odometer and speedometer are operational. Odometer reads 61,560 original miles.
