Powered by the reliable 248 cubic inch Fireball straight 8 producing 107 H.P. coupled with dual compound carburation along with a manual 3 speed transmission makes this car is a joy to drive. Beautiful broadcloth interior, excellent chrome and trim throughout. Front and rear chrome bumper guards. Riding on 6.50-16 BF Goodrich Silvertown wide white wall tires. An older restoration that still shows well. Car runs smooth and drives perfect.
Model 46S six-passenger Sport Coupe commonly called a “Sedanette” due to its fastback design built on the division’s 121-inch-wheelbase chassis. Though visually similar to the 1940 models, the cars had an updated grille and front fenders complementing the new-to-Buick single-panel two-way hood, which opened from either side to expose Buick’s venerable . straight-eight engine.
