1951 Belair Hardtop that came from a large collection where the dad had 130 cars and trucks, all show ready, warehoused for 26 years. It was restored when he bought it, done right and looks super nice!
When this was restored it was loaded up with rare options like front and rear bumper guards, grille guard, trunk lid guard, nail guards, fender skirts, windshield visor, spotlight, rocker moldings, Mohawks on the top of quarters, 1952 quarter moldings above the fender skirts, Radio,
This is a Canadian built Chevrolet.
The motor is a 216 with manual 3 speed on the column, runs great and starts when you push the button. I’m not able to find the dates on the tires but they look good, not cracked or anything but they are Coker, i would run them around town but not on the intererstate. I changed the oil with filter and put plugs in it, runs like a champ!
The paint work is incredible, super nice and smooth, great shine with no marks or scratches, the glass is all nice, windows roll up and down smoothly, dash is all completely with glove box and the paint is spotless.
This is a car that you will enjoy and will load up with trophies, I have completed a lot of restorations and the person that did this was a professional, it’s hard to believe it was done 26 years ago but it just sat in a warehouse from time of completion. I finished a 51 Convertable a few years back and I think this was just as nice, I’m afraid to say what I had in it??
I have added a video and if you want I will be glad to send a few more if you ask, please email me if you have any other questions, Thank You, Mike
