Check out original paint in wheel wells and assembly line numbers on the cowl . Rebuilt engine with new pistons , bearings , T chain ,lifters, valve job etc. ,still all Std., sounds great , good oil pressure Charging system ,and lights work. Paint done as original, some body work and new chrome . Underside of of truck is still patina original. Was painted blue at some point and undercoated witch worked well, its not rusted. I had a complete Factory Pontiac Tri. Power set up I could not resist putting on for Looks. End carbs. are blocked off but could be activated . Original manifold , heater, radiator etc. comes with. I bought this out West couple Years ago ,it had been stored inside since the 70s. . This has to be one of Rarest GMC pickup ever produced . How many can be left with their original engine and transmission after 68 Years? Now, what I see still needs to be done on this truck , needs transmission work , though it runs and drives it shifts erratic and slips in high gears , it is missing the fiberglass spare tire carrier, chrome strips on top of the body , and correct heater control , could use some more chrome plating and finishing done, but generally speaking its a nice truck.
