We bought this car in 1989 and believe to be the 3rd owner. It appears to have always been in Oregon. We have mostly kept it in the Garage. Highly Original Survivor, 1 of only 7,206 produced in 1955. +Overview Of Entire Vehicle:
This is a 1955 Packard 400 2-Door Hardtop in highly original condition throughout. The body is solid as a rock with super straight sides and appears to be totally rust-free. This car appears to be a true survivor with only 59k miles which we believe to be original. The interior is pretty much all original. The carpet will need to be replaced because it got wet and we never noticed till few months later ( water got in trough the driver’s door. Seems not to be sealing fine) No rust. Under the hood appears to be all original with its original drive train which includes a 352 ci V8 engine and Ultramatic automatic transmission. This car has beautiful original chrome and trim throughout.
