1956 Pontiac Wagon
This ’56 Pontiac wagon was the recent recipient of a full restoration giving it a great mild custom “surf wagon” look. Mechanical components have been rebuilt and the paint and bodywork are gorgeous. Over 4000 was spent on the custom air-brushed wood grain treatment that the wagon received on all exterior and interior window frames and dash. To see real wood on a vintage car is impressive, but to painstakingly replicate the wood grain by hand is pretty incredible. The two-tone red and white paint has been hand sanded and buffed to a brilliant sheen and compliments the wood grain nicely. The interior is matched to the exterior of the car and features all new upholstery, carpeting, painted surfaces and that extra long headliner.The power plant is a Pontiac Strato Streak 370 with triple Rochester carbs. The motor has a nice little rumble and was completely rebuilt during the restoration along with the transmission and rear end components. The car is a fantastic cruiser and turns heads left and right
