1958 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe
Purchased in the late 1980s as a parts car and has remained on standby ever since. It was recently removed from a barn, where it collected dust for more than 30 years. Car was originally painted in Cheviot Gray and has a Lt. Gray Venetian Cloth & Lt. Gray Victoria Cloth interior, which has significantly deteriorated. Originally optioned with power windows, power vent windows, and 6-way power front seats. Car does not run and engine has been untouched. Car is fairly complete, but is missing some small items including the left tail light, C-pillar trim, air cleaner, radiator, etc. Condition of the trunk and its contents are unknown. Significant dents in upper right rear quarter panel behind door, and upper right front fender in front of door. Surface rust on most body panels would need to be media blasted, and may have significant pitting under the surface rust. May require some replacement panels after blasting, depending on depth of pitting/thickness of original metal. Bumpers and trim appear in good condition overall, but some issues are present on stainless trim on rear quarters. (See photos.) Interior is apparently original, but significantly faded/degraded/damaged, and would need to be re-covered or replaced. Vinyl dash is fully intact but cracked and will need to be replaced. Floors appear to be solid, but would require removing carpet for full inspection. This car might be a candidate for restoration.
