All glass is excellent and windows roll up and down properly. The interior carpet is fairly new and factory correct. The seats and door cards are original and excellent except for one minor 2″ seam split on the back center area of the front seat. The headliner is excellent.
This was a radio delete car from the factory and has the radio delete plate with Studebaker Lark symbol. All gauges are working.
15″ tires are good and have 2019 date codes. The car will also be sold with the original Studebaker stock wheels and hubcaps as shown in photos. I have included two images of the car from the 2021 sale showing the car with the stock wheels.
Beneath the rear cargo lid is a spare tire, jack and tie down bracket (see photo)
Comes with original 1961 owners manual, some service and parts receipts, Studebaker Museum history reports etc.
The car starts, idles, drives, shifts (three on the tree) exceptionally well and runs straight down the road. There’s a minor oil leak from the rear main seal but I have never needed to add oil. The body is mostly original paint but shows signs of prior minor body work on the lower front fenders. Typical dings and scratches but the paint shows well and the chrome is very good.
This is a collector owned car and has always been garaged. Being sold on a clear Virginia title in seller’s name. Currently registered, insured and on the road. Personal inspections are encouraged and welcomed by appointment. Location is Central Virginia near Charlottesville.
