1962 Buick LeSabre 2Dr. H/T – 51K miles showing (believed to be original miles – see picture of odometer) – been in storage since 1979 – It was part of a Florida estate until a few months ago and was stored inside a building since 1979 (see last picture which is of this car stored in the building). The car is completely original and unaltered. This car has all original paint with light surface rust from many years of Florida storage. The lower color is paint code ‘T’ which is Gold and the upper color is paint code ‘C’ which is white. The interior needs a good clean up but it is very good original condition. The seats are all good and have no rips or tears in the seats. It has a correct set of tires on it that are in good condition. It has Riveria wire wheel covers on it now but the original Buick LeSabre hubcaps are in the trunk. There is also an extra grill and headlight bezels in the trunk that go with the car.

The engine is the famous Buick 401 V8 Nail Head motor with 2 speed automatic transmission – factory A/C (very rare option), power aluminum front drum brakes, power steering, radio delete and clock delete. Has original spare tire and jack in trunk. It as a few minor parking lot dents on the body and a slight dent in the left rear quarter panel which looks like is could easily be dollied out by a good body man from inside the trunk. I have not tried to turn the engine over. It is currently not running because of long term storage and would need to have the fuel system, ignition system and brake systems serviced before being put back on the road. It has good tires on it and it rolls freely so it would be easy to load on a trailer or transport truck. The trunk floor and interior floors of this car are completely solid. It has one small spot of rust just forward of the right rear wheel (see picture). This car is a 60 year old time capsule. Someone could keep it stock and get the original motor running and put it back on the road as a survivor original or build some type of custom out of it with an LS motor and big wheels and air bags. It is a clean slate to restore anyway someone wants. If you like the look of a 1962 Impala but can’t afford the crazy prices Impala’s are selling for now this car is a perfect alternative. It has the hardtop that looks like a convertible top which was new for 1962 GM full size cars.Car has been a Florida car it’s whole life. It was sold new in Sarasota and has been in that area since day one. It was driven sparingly from 1962 to 1979 and then put in a barn for storage until very recently. It has solid floors, trunk floor, frame (see pictures of under side of car). It has a few parking light dents but is an all original panel car and has never been in any type of accident. This car has a current Florida title in my name. If you have any questions or want to set up an appointment to see the car in person let me know.
