True Gran Sport Black Plate CA Z Fremont plant car and a truly rare car One of 2127 produced in 1965 . LR matching number 401 Nailhead or 445 Wildcat built by Russell Martin of Centerville Auto repair in Grass Valley CA has some upgrades ie better cam , carb , ignition , Riviera Finned aluminum valve covers etc . I added a rare metal 67 Star Wars air cleaner ( have original ) . Car was his brothers which whom was a body / paint guy and it’s laser straight with great chrome . Upgraded to 400 SP transmission from a 66 so added a gear with 67 GS three speed shifter . 70 quick ratio steering box & steering wheel , disc brakes , 15X7 wheels added . Car has the best of Buick years stuff on it . 3:36 Posi Rear end little low for my taste have a stock 65 Skylark rear end if wanted with 2:78 . Chrome and pot metal are in great original condition few things added factory hazards , tissue box , tachometer etc . Paint and body work in excellent shape was painted back in late 90’s but you’d never guess by how it looks . Interior , dash top and top no tears or issues . I have two sets of wheels 15X7 Rallies with BFG tires and 65 Red bird caps and some bigger 17 ” American racing wheels as well your choice but Americans are on it right now . Think pictures do most of the talking not going to find another one this clean anytime soon . I’m sure I’m forgetting things so feel free to email with questions .
