1965 Chevrolet L-79 Malibu/Chevelle 327/365 Rare, “Driver Quality” very original, numbers matching car. Rebuilt engine and drivetrain, original interior, runs and drives well.

The car on offer here is this lovely and highly original 1965 Chevy L79 Malibu/Chevelle. The car is in excellent “driver” condition. These cars are very rare and to find one with its original engine and drivetrain is even rarer. It is a Red on Red with original Numbers Matching drivetrain. The car was in the Ed Sharretts collection and is known in the L79 Registry.
Original L79 327/350 HP with matching numbers. Motor was completely rebuilt approximately 8000 miles. The engine starts easily and runs well with good power and torque; the car is very FAST.
Rare, factory 4-speed; it retains its original Muncie transmission. Transmission was rebuilt at the same time as the engine; it drives and shifts as designed.
Original numbers matching 12 Bolt Posi rear (rebuilt)
The red vinyl interior is original and remains in excellent condition. It has a wonderful Patina.
The RED paint is in fair condition with some blemishes around the car. There is some paint failure on the roof. The undercarriage and trunk are clean but reflect the age and mileage.
Car lived in a well know L79 collection.
