My new Superformance 427 R, just arrived so this one is for sale. I have owned 7 Cobras over the years and nothing even comes close to the Superformance.
The Superformance MKIII is built under license from Carroll Shelby Licensing Inc, a meticulously engineered and crafted reproduction of the original. No expense was spared to recreate these legendary roadsters, ensuring an authentic sports car driving experience.
SP03704 is finished in Gregio Silvertone with Black Twin Stripes, powered by a Prestige Motorsports Fuel Injected 427cui engine with 590hp and 565 lb/ft of torque and mated to a Tremec 5-Speed transmission. This Engine is equipped with the polished Borla 8 Stack induction and performs incredibly well. With just 252 miles she is barely broken in and ready for a new home.
On the inside, this Cobra features period correct Smiths Gauges with a Lucas Ammeter Gauge in the period correct dash layout. The doors are secured by original style carriage style latches. All openings, such as engine bay, trunk and cockpit are wrapped around steel subframe for increased strength and support. The dash is wrapped in leather, as are the steel framed seats with double stitching and period correct webbing for comfort and aesthetics. This Cobra is featuring a full leather interior .
All Superformance MKIII’s come standard with a Limited Slip Differential and Power Disc 4 Piston Wilwood Brakes.. Other options include the Bilstein coil-over shocks which provide a sporty ride while improving the car’s handling. The Avon tires on the 15″ wheels provide great handling and traction together with fantastic looks. The stainless steel exhaust system is not only looking gorgeous but sounds really good, too. And yes it includes the optional Top and Cockpit cover new in the trunk.
The driving experience of these Superformance Cobras is second to none, their performance, and durability is outstanding, no matter if you go cross country driving or do laps on the racetrack.
This Cobra is titled as 1965 and comes with a clear Tennessee title.
