All Original Survivor 37,000 Miles Garage Kept No Rust 283 powerglide
I bought the car from the original owner’s family. Its really a nice car that was well maintained. I lost the garage space and am forced to sell. Power steering. Radio delete. I believe the car has original paint but you be the judge. Its 50 years old and it’s possible it was touched up. I bought a touch up pen and have touched up some areas. 283 powerglide. Original build sheet under the seat. Original dealer invoice. Original carl ramsey dealer license plate frame. No rust. No bondo. No bubbles in paint. Interior is immaculate and original. Not even wear in carpet because always had mats. No rips or tears in seats or headliner. Also has a build sheet stuck under passenger lower fender. The vinyl top is original and is not perfect. It has some bubbles in the top. I don’t think its rusted. They are firm when applying pressure. Probably the glue separating. You be the judge. Should the vinyl top be replaced? I wouldn’t replace it, but thats up to you. Its a fun car to cruise in. I have put about 1,000 miles on it last few months with no issues and ive never added oil or transmission fluid. If i were to keep it, i would not paint it. I like it the way it is. Yes the paint has cracks from the lacquer and has nicks and scratches. But its not a show car. Its just a nice cruiser. Still has the original date coded spark plug wires. The original clock still works. If you buy the car, the title will be signed over to you. It will not be an open title.I am also keeping the license plates. No rust in floors, hood, lower fenders, lower quarters, lower dash, or trunk pan. Really a nice solid untouched car. I think the spare tire is still original. The car had the original tires in 1991 but the family did not save them.
Madeira Maroon.
