Exhaustive multi-year build for ill-fated run at 2020 Hot Rod Power Tour that did not occur. The foundation for the build was a 66K mile Marina Blue 1967 Chevy II Series 100 car equipped with 6 cylinder and Powerglide automatic transmission. Prior to my ownership the car had been repainted at some point with several foot well patches installed. The original drivetrain, suspension, interior and electrical systems were completely removed and replaced with top-shelf components. Suspension upgrades include a CPP mini-subframe tubular front end set up featuring drop spindles with GM style drilled and slotted front disk brakes Wilwood master cylinder and stainless braided lines.. The rear suspension includes a multi-leaf conversion with later model 8.5โ 10 bolt differential outfitted with new Moser posi-unit and 3:73 gears. The motor upgrade consists of a high nickel content 010 casting 040โ over 350 block outfitted with a full Eagle reciprocating assembly, Kevco deep pan, pickup and pump, Edelbrock 64CC aluminum heads, dual plane intake and Holley 780cfm carburetor with electric fuel pump and pressure regulator, Comp Cams Thumpr hydraulic cam and kit with MSD distributor and wires providing the spark. TCI Streetfighter TH350 transmission, 3000 rpm torque converter, flex plate, billet cooler and shifter handle the power distribution via a custom driveshaft. Cooling is managed by a Champion 3 row polished aluminum radiator with a dual Derale controlled fans. Exhaust features Sanderson shorty headers and a full Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust with polished tips. Aside from original rear seat, headliner, dash pad, belts, jack, and door panels, the fully insulated interior was upgraded with a new tilt steering column and custom wheel, all new instrumentation with GPS speedo, Procar bucket seats, brackets and console. Tunes come from a Custom Autosound head unit with both in-dash and under-seat speakers. The entire electrical system was replaced and includes a Powermaster 100A alternator and mini-starter, American Autowire 16 circuit wire harness and new battery. The exterior was treated to a new paint matched cowl hood and trunk lid along with all new trim, lights, grille, and bumpers. Window glass and emblems are original to the car. Trunk features full detail, floor mat, and spare. Wheels including spare are American 15X6 Torque Thrusts with Cooper 21560R15 tires.
