!968 Buick Electra 225 Convertible
For sale here is a classy land yacht that runs and drives well. This ’68 Electra 225 has the very powerful Buick 430 V-8
engine and runs well. Has a 2 BBL carb. Also has factory A/C. The brakes are good and the ride in this cruiser is very comfortable. The power top works great. The black top fabric does need replaced, but will finish off this cool boat and you will be sailing around town. There are 90,170 on her and the interior looks great. The seats are nice, the door panels are nice, and so is the dash. No cracks. Clear gauges. All of the power windows work. The 6-way power seat works. The remote driver’s mirror works. Tires are radials and seem ok, but are older.
Has tilt steering wheel. All lights are working, including: turn signals and the green dash arrow indicators, brake lights, headlights, high beams and red dash hash indicator, and interior courtesy lights. Wipers work. Speedometer and odometer work. Fuel gauge and heater work. The A/C blows air but the air is warm. Most likely needs recharged. The following are not working: horn, cruise, and clock (which probably stopped in 1974).
The underside is solid and the exhaust sounds good. The body, in general, is decent. There are some places where bodywork was done in the past above the driver’s side rear wheel. You can see a very slight crack. The chrome bumpers are solid and look presentable.
Overall, this is a very presentable convertible cruiser, that runs good with a very nice interior and A/C. Put on a new black top and go cruising! Sold in as-is condition. Inspection available.
