1968 Chevy Chevelle Malibu Hardtop Bright Red w/ Cragars V 8 Automatic I’ve been the owner for 15 years and have a clear title. It has been my Sunday drive car and garage kept. It is a Chevelle Malibu. I do not know anything about cars, but will list what I have found out from my mechanic. 350 V-8 automatic (not original engine – it had a V-6), dual exhaust, power brakes, power steering, disc brakes in front, a/c unit is installed but not hooked up so don’t know if it works, oversized tires (larger in back) all with good thread, cragar rims, dual flow master. I just had a tune-up done, new 650 Holley carburetor, battery, spark plug & wires, fitting, clamps, hose, PCV valve, distributor rotor & cap, replaced fuel line from carb. to filter, replaced several vacuum hoses and caps and adjusted timing. The only thing that it still will need done soon is fixing an exhaust leak. Also, if you are not going to keep it under a roof, there is a little leaking around the window seals, so if it gets caught in the rain, you’ll have to wipe it down or fix the seals. As far as aesthetics, the paint (which I’ve been told is Porsche Indian Red color) still has a lot of life in it with just a few light scratches and just a couple of small spots. It is peeling up in one spot in particular under back tail light (see photo).
