1971 Ford F250 Up for sale is this wonderful 1971 F250 project. This truck has been a frame up restoration! The body was removed and we started with sandblasting and powder coating the frame. Next we moved to the rear suspension. We removed all heavy duty leaf springs to make a it very soft ride. After that we removed the front suspension and replaced it with the all aluminum crossmember from a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria now giving the truck rack and pinion steering, coil suspension, and an overall 6” lowered ride height. With the body off we went on to rust repair. We replaced both rear cab corners, the front right cab mount and both fenders. The wheel wells are in great shape with no sign of rust on the exterior of the box at all! After the rust was repaired it hit the paint booth to be sprayed in a matte Heisenberg Blue. The previous owner did have an X brace welded in the box that was removed so there are a few small holes where it was torched out but that’s it! The vehicle is mated with an LS1 and T56 that only have 62,000 miles on the pair that came out of an 04 GTO. The wiring is ran for the motor and transmission and will just need a little finishing up. The pickup does have new calipers, pads and rotors all the way around. The rear end is an 8.8 out of an 01 Explorer with a 3.73 posh gear ratio. The wheel combination is 17×7 Ridler wheels on Fuzion tires. What’s needed To finish this truck is a clutch pedal assembly, one driveshaft, one fuel tank and line, and a little interior work including seats, instrument cluster, and carpet. With that short list this truck would be complete and road worthy!
