1971 FORD Mustang Fastback MACH 1 Tribute Restored California BLUE Plate SHELBY
You have now just discovered a beautiful One Year Restoration of a Southern California 1971 Mustang that has not been on the road since November of 1979. It Started out as a true barn find including the Original California Blue Plates it was wearing since 1971 which are shown in the photo gallery.
Initially this Classic Collector was born a 2-Door Sports Roof or otherwise referred to as a Fastback, built in Grabber Green with Black Interior with Bucket Seats. The previous owner wanted to make something very special out of this Mustang and decided to rebuild this car into the very famous and desirable Mach 1 Package Mustang. During the restoration process he had the vision of Bullet Green with Silver Hood and Side graphics just like the original Mach 1 Cars of the day. Then opted to pull the 351 2V V8 and exchanged it for a 351 Cleveland 4V engine. Then cam all the gingerbread like front chin spoiler and rear deck lid spoiler, Magnum 500 Wheels and so on.
