This car has been in our family since 1974. The ground up rebuild was completed in 2022, and it has been garage kept ever since. We rebuilt the car by using two other parts cars, so this is not an all original car. This was built to be a daily/weekend driver. We focused on making the car good looking and functional. We spent about $10,000 on parts, and $2,250 on the interior. All the rust was cut out and replaced with new metal.The custom vinyl interior is the prettiest interior to ever be in an MG. The car has AC and a Bluetooth radio. It also has a 4 speed manual transmission with overdrive, so highway cruising is not a problem. The current engine was a recently rebuilt engine purchased from Sportswear Warehouse in Arlington Texas in 2022. It has a knock-off Weber carburetor installed, but I do have the old SU’s in a box. The underside of the car was sprayed with a bed liner material for protection and sound deadening.We have the original engine, another engine, extra transmission, rear end, front right fender, two car shells, some glass, and other miscellaneous parts that can go with the car. The odometer is not working, so I figure there is about 10,000 miles on the rebuilt engine. I provided pictures of the compression of each cylinder. All are within spec. I have some receipts and a log of all the parts replaced during the rebuild. I also have many other photos and a video of driving the car. It has a current state inspection and is ready for a new owner to enjoy!
