Restomod 1972 Pro Touring Stingray Corvette LS Swapped 6 Speed
Pro Touring 72 Chevrolet Vette that was fully restored 4 years ago and is in excellent condition. This car has an amazing low mileage(less than 10k on motor) 460hp 5.7 LS1 mildly cammed and precisely tuned paired up to a T-56 6 speed hurst shifter and spec clutch that makes excellent power and truly performs more like a C5 Corvette. Ice cold a/c thanks to the new vintage air setup and a 3 row Champion aluminum radiator keeps the coolant flowing while dual fans with shroud keep the car cool for piece of mind while cruising especially in the hot summer months. Silver Face Dakota digital gauges illuminate in vibrant red and all work properly including the turn signal and high beam indicators. Headers with electric cutouts(loud when you want it) into 2.5 inch exhaust and magnaflow mufflers. Almost everything replaced new when restoration was complete including power brakes cross drilled/slotted rotors with stainless caliper pistons, all new upgraded suspension with bilstein shocks, fiberglass rear leaf springs, quick ratio power steering, all new bushings, end links, sway bars, ball joints, posi rear end, new carpet, fully insulated under carpet, new leather seat covers, new door panels, new dash, new center console, paint, led tail and backup lights etc. Tons of money spent building this car. The car just turned over 5k miles since restoration so this car is dialed in and can be driven. Perfect car to take on Hot Rod’s POWERTOUR. This is a reliable car that was quality built to be driven and perform like a modern car. It is not a garage queen- it sports very nice driver quality paint and does have a few rock chips and wear on the body (see pics of flaws) but nothing major from being a driven car. The vacuum was deleted so it now has electric motors for the headlights(occasionally the driver side light has to be manually lowered) but does not currently have windshield wipers since the wiper cowl operated off vacuum- all hardware for wiper cowl still intact and wiring is still present as well. I never drive in rain and rainX works if I get caught out in the rain.
