ABOUT THE BOAT –
Seacaft 23,3 was ranked easily in the top 30 boats ever made in any size, by Saltwater Sportsman magazine. This is the much desired Potter built Seacraft. A safe, fun, capable fishing or cruising boat. Great ride, patented variable dead rise deep vee hull built by Bill Potter Seacraft. Comfortable cutty cabin. Large 13ft x 8 cockpit for fishing. I only run on non-ethanol fuel, Cruise over 30 mph, low fuel consumption. Two fuel tanks total 105 gal.US. Total 472 hours , ½ or more at trolling rpms, runs strong and has been well maintained and had regular service by Merc dealer every 100 hrs. This 1975 Seacraft was launched in 1976. It didn’t touch the water for 24 years 1987 until restoration 2011. This included a new Mercruiser 350 mag EFI (300hp) motor,(350 chev) Mercruiser Alfa One, Gen 2 outdrive (1.47 drive ratio) Flushed after use without fail. Stainless quicksilver prop, power steering, stainless steering wheel, shifter, wiring, hoses, water sep.fuel filter. New transom is nyloboard, fiberglass, and resin, (not wood) beefed up fg stringers & motor mounts ( have pictures of rebuild.) Starboard trim, rod racks & shelfs, stainless bow railing, upholstered vee berth cushions, starboard & stainless swim ladder, 2 Todd Captain chairs, new Todd seat cushions (never used), removable motor cover pad, 2 jump seats for rear sides, 2 transom baitwells, side drained, Rule pump/wash-down ,6 horz. rod racks, 6 vert rod ready holders, and 7 gunnel rod holders, Fireboy auto fire extinguisher, bilge blower, 2 batteries ( 8/17) with battery switch, 13 lb. Danforth style anchor, stainless anchor roller pulpit, with 8ft. chain and 300+ ft of 5/8 nylon line, fire extinguisher, life jackets, throw cushion, electric horn, new Bimini top 6-18 (never used). Spare alum prop, hardware, spare serpentine belt, fuel filter. Teak tackle cabinet, drink holders. Not new but a lot of extras @ 20% of that new price. This is not a project boat, nor a storm damaged boat. Ready for the water. Proven fish catcher. Stable & SAFE in rough seas. Many extras included. Not perfect but way less than new.
