1981 Pontiac Trans Am
This car was purchased new by my family in 1981. Most of the miles were put on by my family, until it was sold around 1989. While we owned it from 1981-1989, we made several performance modifications to the car, including a high-performance engine, Doug Nash 5-speed, roll bar, and Centerline rims. I tracked the car down in 2007 and purchased it back at that time. The car was in great shape at the time (no rust anywhere on the vehicle), but some of the enhancements we had made earlier were no longer on the car. So we made several enhancements to restore the performance aspects of the car to what it was when we originally owned it, including: 1) upgrading the motor to a 400hp 350 V8 with fuel injection, complete exhaust system, a Richmond 5-speed with 1:1 5th gear, new brakes, new shocks and springs, complete detailing of the front undercarriage, Centerline rims, new tires, high-performance radiator, and much more. I still have the original rims and front seats that I will include with the car. This is a fast car, but very driver friendly.
