Up for grabs is a hard to find Chrysler Conquest!
One of the coolest GT cars of the 80’s (in my opinion) and in todays market of cookie cutter cars that all look alike, this one really stands out.
This car is all original, untouched and retains every piece of dealer paperwork including the window sticker, original title and bank loan payoff paperwork from 1989. This is a one owner survivor car that with a little cosmetic work, will be the nicest and most original around.
The engine runs excellent and has had a recent oil change. I had the gas tank professionally boiled, rebuilt the sending/pickup units, replaced all filters and had the injectors rebuilt by RC injectors in California. The turbo spools nicely and she has some pep!
The transmission shifts nicely, no grinding, finding gears etc and the clutch grabs perfectly.
The body is very straight with the exception of a minor ding in the passenger door that you really have to look for to see. It can easily be repaired by PDR. As you can see the Arizona sun has faded the bumpers and wing. I planned to have these repainted however my time here in Arizona is coming to an end this summer and I am parting with “toys”.
The interior is dam near perfect. The headliner, interior panels, dash etc are like new. The car was optioned with the factory cassette with equalizer that still function perfectly as do the steering wheel controls.
All in all this is a very solid foundation for a great summer weekend car. It is not perfect but it will not take much to get it there. These are climbing in value and comparing prices on Bring A Trailer, with a little elbow grease and some touching up, this has the potential to be a $18k plus car, especially with it being a one owner and it?s documentation.
While the car does run well and is driven, I would not advise flying in and driving it home. If you were to do so, it must be register and insured in your name before leaving my possession.
