This is a armored vehicle it has a 8.8 diesel motor that runs well mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. It is a absolute beast and a hoot to drive. Because this was a very popular platform for all kinds of government and work vehicles for farmers warehouses are still stacked full of parts for this vehicle dirt cheap. It is by no means perfect it does need to be painted and cleaned up if go with army green! But a simple turn of the key and she comes to life no problem! It runs and drives as it should the only known problem is it does have a brake fluid leak somewhere in one of the lines in the rear so after sitting for a couple months it does need to be topped off again. We have already replaced all the actual brake components all the way around. And the tires are in usable shape. It will need preventative maintenance just like any older vehicle. But it’s large enough to sleep a family in the back of it safe and dry and it is literally a rolling bank vault once you’re in it and it’s locked up nobody is getting inside even if they try to shoot their way in you’ll be safe! It would be a very good prepper vehicle for somebody trying to get out of the city in s.h.t.f. scenario. I have signed title in hand and I think it has about 30.000 original miles on it which is unheard of because most of these service type vehicles usually have half a million miles on them before they come on the market
