LTV KID “gunslinger” Vietnam era LTV Aerospace AATV K.i.d. 8×8 Tracked vehicle
LTV KID. (LTV Industries – Kinetic Industries Division) Vietnam era LTV Aerospace AATV K.I.D. 8×8 tracked vehicle.

The LTV KID “GUNSLINGER” was built by LTV Industries in 1969/70. It was developed for use by the US military during the Vietnam War but development was late in the war and the government chose not to use it. It has a 4 cylinder, 4 cycle Wisconsin gasoline engine and hydrostatic drive motors. It runs OK but needs tuned and has an engine oil leak. I believe it to be either a loose oil line or leak at the filter.

Size: 54″ outside edge of tracks – 120″ tip of front blade to back of tracks – 78″ top of cab, 84″ top of rockets.
Rockets are 6″ diameter x 51″ long.

I added the rockets setup and military markings. (Rockets for display only. Cannot be made to launch) Looks super cool. A video of it can be seen at LTV KID on YOUTUBE.

My grandson and I haul it in parades. I store it in a heated building and can store it for you at no charge in a heated building until 4/1/18 once purchase is paid in full.

You are buying as is. Pick up only. Contact me with any questions.
I would consider a trade for an M29 weasel.
The beacon light, jeep and trailer pictured are not included.
