This is a genuine M1151A1 Rev B Standard Threat armored HMMWV, built with authentic U.S. military armor and equipment throughout. This is not reproduction armor, aftermarket armor, or a cosmetic conversion. The armor components, armored doors, ballistic glass, underbody protection and associated hardware are genuine military components.
Being a Rev B, this truck represents one of the later configurations of the armored HMMWV platform, incorporating the later drivetrain and chassis improvements designed to better support the increased weight and demands of an up-armored vehicle.
The truck retains its Standard Threat armor configuration, providing extensive protection around the crew compartment as well as full underbelly protection. It is also equipped with military egress windshields, giving the occupants an emergency means of escape should normal exit through the armored doors become impossible.
One of the biggest features of this truck is the complete ITDS powered turret system with OGPK (Objective Gunner Protection Kit). The turret features both motorized and manual operation and provides a protected 360-degree gunner position. The military mounting system is in place and capable of accepting the appropriate weapon-mount configuration. The OGPK is also equipped with BMI pads and also included but not yet installed is the BMI Molle pouches.
The truck is also equipped with a Blue Force Tracker system and VIC-3 vehicle intercom system. These components are installed but are not currently completely wired into the vehicle. In our experience, many customers prefer a cleaner truck without every military electronic systems, so they have been left largely for display. If the buyer wants them, they will be negotiated in the sale and full installed.
Additional genuine military equipment is available for this truck as well, including thermal/driver vision camera systems and other military electronics and accessories, allowing the vehicle to be configured to the buyer’s preference.
All exterior lighting has been updated with new LED lighting, while maintaining the correct military appearance.
What makes this truck special is the completeness and authenticity of the build. This isn’t a standard Humvee made to look like an armored truck. It is a genuine Rev B Standard Threat armored M1151A1, utilizing authentic military armor, ballistic glass, underbody protection, egress components, ITDS powered turret, OGPK and military equipment throughout.
