Harley Davidson 1942 WLC 45 FLAT HEAD Military style For sale is this rolling piece of World War II history. I found this motorcycle in 1990 in Holland. In 1945 the Netherlands were liberated by the Canadian Army being part of the allied troops in Europe. The Canadians brought their version of the WLA, the WLC with them and left them behind with lots of spare parts. This1942 WLC came to me with a 1943 engine in it, VIN 43WLC6041 and was in detail restored to correct specs in 2005. All parts on this bike are nos H-D or oem H-D. All hardware used is nos or oem PC. No Colony material utilized.
The engine has been completely rebuilt (new nos H-D +.004 pistons, lifters, new nos valve guides and nos valves, complete nos set of camshafts, new scavenger oil pump, new valve stem covers, new crank pin and pinion shafts and new H-D/Campion #3 air cooled spark plugs.
About 80 miles on it.
