One of the coolest Mopars to still exist after 50 yrs.
So many cool things about this car, not sure where to start.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This Ca / Az car is very solid where it needs to be and about as rust or rot
free as you can find for an unrestored 50+ vehicle. Rolls and steers fine and
has been parked since the late 80s or early 90s. Has been in Az since the 80s
from what we gathered too. All the glass looks good, dr side rear door I cant
open. Its a worth while EX POLICE car project car anyone would love to own
and restore ! You would prob have the only 1 in your state !
The car is a one yr only 1960 Dodge Matador, but the cars that where intended
for Police car service came with Dart front grills etc due to cheaper cost.
It has some other specific Police car items on and around it still too I could
point out.

DRIVETRAIN: under the hood is a V8, which I believe is a 383.
Its obviously a big block 4v car. I found some #s on the front of the block
but trying to verify engine size. I poured gas down the carb with a good
battery and it started and ran for about 5 or 10 seconds finally. Took a
while. Motor sounded fine and no smoke etc. The original carb is in
pretty rough shape. AC still connected ! Also at one time an Engine Oil
Cool was added, and in the dr side fenderwell are the 2 remote oil
filters !! This is a cool car. Also has PB too. I think the brakes are working
some, but I need to check.
Tires are old and rollers at best. Some worthwhile options IE:
PS / PB / AC and more.
INTERIOR: take a look at pics its fairly complete, and very dry and showing
much of its age. Has some distinct Police car only items, hanging rear view
mirror, white face speedo and more. Seats not to bad of shape.
Has a few aftermarket gauges installed and AC and Cruise where installed at
some point of its life. Carpets looking pretty old.

EXTERIOR: you are looking and older repaint, my guess it was originally
black and white. A few small dents around the body but for a 50+ yr old
car, is pretty straight and VERY rust and rot free. Chrome is just okay,
think the CA air may of had something to do with the dulling over the
yrs.
SUSPENSION: the suspension looks pretty much like the way
it came from the factory and complete. But Im sure there are some
things added or more HD being an Ex cop car under there too.
Very little looks to be missing. Will come on original steel wheels & rollers
tires, with 3 of the original dog dish hubcaps.
Seems solid at least and no clunks etc when I moved it around
the yard last week.

We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars. People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks.
Survivors are getting harder to find !
Also, if you buy a car thats been “restored”, who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating. People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.
