Inspired by stock cars of the 60’s this Starliner has that “ex-racer stored in a barn” look and demands attention everywhere it goes. Initially found by the initial builder in 2008. He would complete a frame off build on the car which included the frame being powder coated, all new suspension components, custom through the frame side exhaust (inspired by stock cars of the 60s) engine, transmission were rebuilt at this time. Since taking over stewardship in 2021, the current owner addressed a few items he felt would make the car safer to enjoy with his family. Seatbelts were added, GM rear disc brakes with an emergency brake. To help with steering an electric power system (EPAS) which allows you to adjust the steering assist along with Ididit steering column were added. The coil over suspension was raised for ease of use. In preparation for the sale, the engine oil and filter were replaced, the carburetors were rebuilt and tuned, and spark plugs replaced. The motor is equipped with a few very neat pieces, the vintage cast iron headers and “406” air cleaner, Edelbrock covers all give it the period look. This is a raw experience with plenty of character and is turnkey ready to be enjoyed. The Ford comes with a spare trunk, the air ride system that was removed, an additional set of C-pillar trim stars (rare to find) an extra set of springs, new lower ball joints, and an issue of Hot Rodding magazine that it was featured in. The Starliner is located at our Tacoma facility and available for inspection/ viewing by appointment.
