The 1965 Ford Thunderbird Special Landau is a classic collector car with very good original interior in parchment color and a sleek coupe body type. It has one repaint in the original emberglow exterior color, which is in very good condition. This particular vehicle has four seats, automatic transmission, and a powerful 8-cylinder engine with a displacement of 6.4 liters. Whitewall tires are in good condition and show no dryrot. Original chrome is very good considering the age. With only 72702 miles on the odometer, this Ford Thunderbird is sure to be a standout piece in any classic car collection. I would consider this car a very good driver quality, while it has won several best-in-class trophies, I would not consider it show quality. Features include PW, PS, PB, unfortunately it does not have AC. There is no visible rust or rot underneath or in floor pans or trunk. In order to bring it to show quality, the engine bay would need to be repainted, and the underside of the car detailed. The car drives out good, ride quality is excellent, it does prefer the pure gas. It is unknown whether the engine has been rebuilt, I think it has but could not guarantee it. I would love to keep it but simply do not have the space currently to do so. You must see and drive in person to really appreciate. Please don’t hesitate to message me for any questions or to arrange an inspection.
