This car is a rare H code car with a factory 390 big block backed by a C6 and a Nine inch the previous owner added after market gauges and dual exhaust and an alpine stereo in the glove box. this car is perfect for a restoration as it is pretty much unmolested and has all the original parts.
The car belonged to a friend of mine whose grandfather bought it new, then gave it to him when he turned 16. He’s had it since the early eighties, he parked it in 2000 with intentions of restoring it but never got around to it, consequently the car’s sat ever since. He would periodically start it and run it around the block.
I bought it from his family. I installed a new gas tank in it, a sending unit and filler neck hose, blew the line out, poured some gas in the carb and it started right up. The motor runs great very smooth it has 60 PSI oil pressure at idle and moves up to 80 when revved up. It’s very quiet, no lifter noise or knocks, the car drives, though it needs the brakes to be adjusted it stops.
The car sat outside for years un covered so it has some rust issues they are all repairable. The car is a great starting point for a restoration. I can provide videos of the car running and driving.
