This truck was stationed in Texas during the majority of its service life and has been well preserved due to the arid environment. It has a clean body and was just painted as it would have been from the factory. It went through a major rustproofing in 85′ and new engine, transmission, transfer case in 86′. It was later sustained by the local National Guard as an optics repair truck until replaced in the late 2000’s.
The truck has been thoroughly gone through with the FDC bypassed, all brake wheel cylinders have been replaced, brakes bled, hubs greased, and much more. All gauges read as they should and all cab glass is clear. The cab hard top was factory installed and the truck includes the boarding ladder too. The truck is in excellent shape and M109’s are only getting harder to find.
