Issues

Malfunctioning passenger side rear flasher (only 2 of 3 sequenced flashers work, but brake and hazard lights work fine)

Paint flake on rear rims and curb rash on fronts (see pictures)

Hairline cracks in Tiger Racing fiberglass hood on leading edge (about 5.5” long) and two on one vent rib (one is 1/8”long, the other about ¾”). The cracks do not go through to the underside of the hood. See pictures.

There is a 1” long piece of thedriver side valence where I got over-exuberant with a pressure washer trying to remove a 3M product. It has been covered with touch up paint.

The Expel has some stone damage and there is a bubble that has got some dirt in it on the lower part of the bumper, right at the wheel arch.

History

I am the second owner of this car. I purchased it from Maxwell Ford (Austin) in March, 2019. I have performed all of my own oil changes (Oil and filter last changed 100 miles ago). The clutch return helper spring was removed to cure the dreaded slow-to return clutch pedal on these cars. I rolled the rear arches and installed fender trim on the front and rear arches to clear the wider rims and tires. The car also has a Laguna Seca equivalent rear wing. The front splitter has been extended. CUNCD Racing did the tuning after installing the exhaust system and CAI. The estimated engine power from the dyno was 484hp. I have that printout available, as well as the paperwork for the performance modifications. This was with Cooks headers and a Pypes exhaust system. I changed the header-back system to what is described above. The previous owner installed Dynamat in the trunk.

Notes

There were very few options available on this model. This car has the Torsen limited slip and the Recaro seats option.

The lightweight flywheel, aluminum driveshaft and shifter support bracket do add noise to the driveline.

That weird round “plate” on dash was installed by the previous owner.

Both sets of keys are included (the TracKey is disabled because of the tune)
