Pintail, a1929 Lindstrom-Milgard classic yacht/cabin cruiser, arepresentative of maritime history, can be used as a pleasure boat/daycruiser and/or for small, boutique tours. You are unlikely to find another one or these double-enders on the East Coast–I had it shipped to Savannah, GA from Port Townsend, WA.

For overnight use, and in order to preserve the original design, I use tethered, stow-away boards port to starboard across benches, which makes an approx. 6′ single berth, with adjustable width (25″-27″ approx), + portable roll-up memory foam sleeping pad–actually quite comfortable; a longer, low cot (included) allows for a second/slash alternate sleeping area. A longer slide/fold out double berth would be possible with alterations to the port bench layout.

Pintail’sinterior has been restored with a variety of hardwoods. preserving herhistorical charm and character. The helm is center-mountedforward. There are several large arched windows port and starboard acrossfrom settees offering pleasurable viewing She has a low freeboard, so stepon/off without need of stairs/ladders.

In2018, she underwent a year longrestoration, refastening, replanking and other measures to assuredimensional stability.

Original hullconstruction: Carvel planked of Port Orchard cedar over steamedoak frames; ironbark keelson.

Constructionhistory, 2018 refit and reconstruction/renovation, including cold moulding process, available on request.
